Assim como os isqueiros precisam de reabastecimento e manutenção regulares, o espírito nacional precisa do alimento comum de todo o povo. Quando o Cruzeiro do Sul iluminar novamente o céu noturno, espero que cada brasileiro possa se tornar uma fogueira ambulante, usar as estrelas da bandeira nacional para guiar a direção e usar a espada do emblema nacional para romper a névoa, para que a chama da “ordem e do progresso” ilumine sempre a jornada do país equatorial.
